About Pipion
Pipion is the smallest piece on the board with the biggest plan: reach the last rank and become a Queen. Every PipionChess video is one step of that trip, and the viewer learns chess along the way.
What you will find here
- Short animated lessons on rules, tactics, traps and the history of chess.
- Three free chess puzzles every day, with hints and a full breakdown.
- Every video organised into series, in the order it is meant to be watched.
Two channels, one pawn
PipionChess (@pipionchess) is in English. Pipion Catur (@pipioncatur) is in Indonesian. Both share the same character and style; the videos are made separately for each audience.
How the lessons are made
Every position shown in a video is checked move by move for legality, and every puzzle on this site comes from the Lichess puzzle database, verified by a chess engine. Narration uses a synthetic voice; animation is 2D vector art.
